About Us

Who We Are

"Each ring can be part of your history."

We hope to create jewellery that can be passed on to your daughters, and to your grand-daughters and to your great-grand-daughters. In other words, we want these unique pieces of jewellery to be able to last a long, long, time. This is history in the making.

The Story

The creation of spoon rings was said to have been born in 17th century England where spoons were used as wedding bands as servants couldn’t afford precious metals. They resorted to stealing silverware from their employers and crafted them into rings. Spoon rings still represent the meaning of love and commitment that they once did.

In another saying originating from a old Welsh custom was that the giving “love spoons” meant that a would-be suitor gave a spoon to a girl he wished to court. A practice that originated in the 15th century, the suitor often carved the spoon himself or commissioned a spoon. Spoons became very ornate with symbols of love and promise.

In recent years, the concept of spoon rings has grown with increasing popularity. These antique heirlooms carry a level of personal sentiment, while promoting a rich sense of history.

Buy a spoon ring for a loved one, or buy one for yourself as part of an inheritance for future generations. This is a tradition worth keeping.

All spoon rings are made from silver plated stainless steel. They can be worn all the time, and requires minimal polishing with a silver polishing cloth if it loses its shine.

What We Offer

Besides spoon rings, we also turn ordinary spoon handles into bracelets and pendants.
